  • "Breaking Growth Barriers"

    Leader: Phil Chorlian

Join us for a practical, peer-to-peer conversation on breaking through growth barriers — whatever size your church is right now. We’ll revisit key principles that help churches move forward, and make plenty of space for pastors and leaders to share what’s actually working (and what’s hard) in their contexts. Whether you were part of last year’s “Breaking Barriers” conference at NJV or this is your first time in the conversation, you’ll leave with a fresh perspective and actionable ideas.

    Location: TBD

  • "Kingdom Ministry and the Vineyard Prayer Model"

    Leader: Matt Doo

The Bible is pretty explicit that as followers of Jesus we are called to minister like him — but how do we actually do that? Whether you’re a Vineyard OG or newer to the movement, this workshop will give us an opportunity to revisit how the Vineyard understands our call to participate in the works of the Holy Spirit, outline a fresh approach to the prayer model we use, and practice together in a relaxed, pressure-free environment. If you would like to grow in your effectiveness in partnering with the Holy Spirit for the works of ministry, this workshop is for you!

  • "Starting a Spanish-Speaking Ministry in Your Church"

    Leader: Grimaldi Martinez

This workshop is designed for anyone interested in starting a Spanish-speaking service, life group, or small group within their church. You do not have to be a Spanish speaker to begin this journey, although having a Spanish speaker available to help with the process can be a valuable resource.

Grimaldi will share the origin story of the North Jersey Vineyard Spanish congregation, walking through the different stages of development —including the challenges, hiccups, lessons learned, and unexpected opportunities along the way. He will also offer practical insights and helpful tips for beginning to reach out to the Spanish-speaking community in your area.

You don’t need to have a large Spanish-speaking demographic to get started. Spanish-speaking people often live in small pockets throughout a community, and when a church provides an opportunity to worship, connect, and grow in Spanish, people will often seek it out.

You may be surprised by how many Spanish-speaking people are actually in your community once you begin offering a Spanish-language ministry.

Come learn how to take the first steps toward creating a culturally relevant Spanish-speaking ministry that can help your church reach and serve the people God has already placed around you.

  • "Vineyard Missions"

    Leader: Josh Armstrong

Learn about opportunities to get involved in places around the world where your church can get engaged with Vineyard Missions.

  • "Becoming a More Evangelistic Church"

Leaders: John Elmer, Ray Longwood, Chris Schlotterbeck

As followers of Jesus, we were given the Great Commission, commanded to be salt and light to the world, and invited to ‘Go’ and ‘Tell’ when it comes to sharing the gospel. As pastors and ministry leaders, we might find ourselves experiencing tension around reaching the lost while equipping our people for ministry, managing our pool of leaders and volunteers, and fighting the temptation to keep everyone happy. What does it look like to ignite the passion to reach the lost in your unique context? What does it look like to ignite that passion amongst our staff, leaders, volunteers, and within our churches? How do you focus on evangelism without becoming a mile wide and an inch deep when it comes to discipleship and developing a leadership pipeline? What are some simple first steps to start? If these are questions that you find that you’re asking yourself or are becoming conversations with your staff or teams, join us for this workshop to hear from leaders that have experience in what works and what doesn’t in their unique context. Come to hear stories, have questions answered, and most of all become inspired by how God wants to use your church to reach the lost this season!

  • "Reaching Young Adults Panel"

Leaders: Eva Fulton, Nico Vergel, Stephen Dunn

A continuation of our 3rd general session, our three young adult leaders will be turning it into a panel-style conversation. If you're interested in learning more about the unique needs and what ministry with Gen Z looks like in your context, you'll want to stick around in the main auditorium to participate in this interactive workshop. Bring your questions and curiosities as we consider how we can more effectively reach this emerging generation.
